Our Origin

Born From a Legacy of Courage


Lal Sitara is a voluntary organization whose purpose is to work for the upliftment of every section in the society, especially the organization is working in the flood prone areas of Kosi region and is also playing its role in many health projects at the grassroot level. The organization is connected with different regional and national networks under various social issues like NABARD, Damien Foundation India Trust. “LAL SITARA” strives for a society which is based on equity and justice. It intervenes to enable the poor, marginalized women and excluded sections of the society by encouraging, strengthening and organizing them to enhance their participation in the process of their own development. In order to promote the philosophy of development, Lal Sitara is trying to build the capacity of youth & other change making youth, groups and other organizations to play an active role in positively impacting the lives of the poor and marginalized communities.
